Tierna has a bachelor of design degree in Visual Communication from Ulster University. She also has a Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute Of Marketing. The combination of a graphic designer with a strong background in marketing is a unique combination of skills that is incredibly useful for any small business owner.
Her main business objective is to help even the smallest of small business owners to feel empowered to manage their marketing and give them access to high quality branding.
Tierna led the marketing team for Catalyst until 2019. Her marketing campaigns for Catalyst were focused on communicating key messages to entrepreneurs. She worked on a variety of high profile marketing campaigns. She was a key player in arranging the Royal Visit of Meghan & Harry to Catalyst in 2018 and managed media enquiries from media outlets such as The Times.
Prior to this she was a graphic designer for a multinational corporation which has a strong focus on brand management.
She is also a Part-Time lecturer for Belfast Metropolitan College where she has taught BTEC Design & Marketing and now mentors on their Innovation Enterprise programme.
